GKO – Global Kick Off
Every year the company brings ~2,000 employees together for our big in-person kick-off: keynotes, workshops, celebrations, and a serious energy boost for the year ahead. I jumped in early with creative concepts for the event theme and vibe. From there, we built the full brand guidelines and rolled them out across everything, digital promo (social posts, emails, internal comms), event signage, printed programs, badges, you name it.
The team: George Barros, Nick Bizzack, Delaney Pratt- Fitzgerald, Lisa Varrall, Ashley Locke, Thera Conrad, Kelly Carlquist, Adam Peterson, Adam Vaughan, Jesse Holden

We were working against a tight timeline and limited budget, while needing a theme and visual identity that truly complemented the Seattle Convention Center, its modern architecture, huge light-filled atriums, vertical flow, and Pacific Northwest warmth (wood details, natural connections to the city and views). The design couldn’t clash with the venue’s fresh, innovative energy; it had to enhance it and feel seamless for 2,000 people moving through those dynamic spaces.

We focused on creating a bold, energetic F1 concept and turned it into clear brand guidelines everyone could follow. Then applied it consistently to all the digital and physical touchpoints. The result was a unified, high-impact experience that looked sharp online and felt even better in person. Attendees noticed and the team felt genuinely aligned and fired up.
